MEETING FOR PROPOSED LAKE
OKEECHOBEE TRIBUTARIES TMDLs
The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency is holding a public meeting on May 2, 2007, at 9:00
am regarding the proposed Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for the Lake Okeechobee Tributaries at the Lee
County Commission Chambers in the Old Lee County Courthouse located at 2120
Main Street, Fort Myers, Florida.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to comment
on the proposed TMDLs for the Lake Okeechobee
Tributaries. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is soliciting
comment on the proposed TMDLs until May 31, 2007. Persons wishing
to comment on the proposed TMDLs or to offer new data
or information regarding the proposed TMDLs are
invited to submit the same in writing no later than May 31, 2007, to the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, Region 4, Water Management Division, 61

Monitoring and TMDL Branch. A copy of each of the proposed TMDLs can be obtained through the Internet or by contacting
